Hi everyone!
As you know, I currently write and draw an original mahou shoujo manga called Sweetheart Angels that I post here on deviantart (don't worry, I'm not ending it!) You may not know, however, that I will soon be starting my second year of college in about a week.
Here's the deal:
I really, really love making this comic and reading each and every comment I get on each page! The community I've found here is so compassionate and kind, and I really feel like I've found a creative home here.
However, each page takes at least a few days to make, and that's if I'm only focusing on the manga. I've already started working and soon I'll be juggling a part time job and my studies, which will be rigorous because my course load is very science-heavy. I feel bad only releasing one page per every couple of weeks, or even months, because I know you guys enjoy reading it and because I want the story to progress fairly quickly. And whenever I do have time to draw, I feel guilty if I work on anything other than the comic pages, so I can't work on other art which I would like to.
Therefore, I have decided that for now, Sweetheart Angels will continue in a purely written format. I will still create drawings of the characters, events, and environments featured in the story, but the story - at least until further notice - will be fully written. This doesn't mean that I won't ever make manga pages again, or that the story will forever be written. It just means that for now, this is what makes the most sense for me. I had really meant to finish at least this manga chapter before beginning the written format, but the chapter is long and with school starting I don't know how long it will take me to finish it.
I really hope that you guys are okay with this and that you'll continue to read, even if the format changes. You have all been incredibly supportive, both of me and of Sweetheart Angels, and I can't thank you enough for that. I hope you'll continue your support. Even if not, thank you again for all you have done for me.
